Aurora Montemayor
Litigation Paralegal
Aurora Montemayor, born in McAllen, Texas is the daughter of first generation immigrants from Reynosa, Tamaulipas. In the summer of 2019 she graduated from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, where she obtained a Bachelor in Philosophy.
Aurora belongs to the American Association of Mexican Philosophers where she speaks about issues within the Mexican-American community and works with a team to solve said issues. Subsequently in the fall of 2021 she started her Masters in Clinical Counseling where she is expected to graduate in the summer of 2024.
Alina Cedeño
Paralegal
Alina Cedeño is a paralegal at Israel Perez Law, where she brings care, curiosity, and a genuine desire to help others into her work each day. Ms. Cedeño entered the legal field with the goal of building a steady, meaningful career where she can grow, support a team, and make a difference for people going through challenging situations.
Originally from California, she moved to Texas seeking new opportunities and a more balanced, fulfilling life. She’s passionate about making a positive and lasting impact through her work.
When she’s not at the office, you’ll usually find her reading, watching or playing sports, and spending time at church — things that keep her grounded and inspired.

Kaylah Boldin serves as head of Marketing & Community Relations at Israel Perez Law, where she blends creativity, strategy, and relationship-building to strengthen the firm’s presence both online and in the community. She oversees branding, social media, and outreach initiatives, ensuring the firm’s values and dedication to clients are communicated with clarity and impact.
A graduate of East Texas A&M University with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and a focus in Marketing, Kaylah brings a strong foundation in communications and strategic marketing to her role. She is passionate about fostering connections, developing impactful campaigns, and supporting initiatives that benefit clients and the community alike.
Sophia Bakos
Legal Receptionist & Receptionist
As the Legal Assistant & Receptionist, Sophia aids in setting up new clients, gathering documentation, and remaining in frequent communication with others regarding case details. With a strong motivation to help others, Sophia consistently strives to show a display of kindness and understanding that will make clientele feel at ease.
With the utmost priority of the client’s satisfaction, Sophia works effectively alongside the staff to ensure the case is ready on all fronts. Outside of the office, she seeks enrichment activities to keep her balanced, such as painting, cooking, and reading.
Sydney Boozer
Associate Attorney
Sydney Boozer graduated cum laude from Thurgood Marshall School of Law. During law school, Sydney served as an Associate Editor of the Thurgood Marshall School of Law Journal on Gender, Race, & Justice and as Social Media Coordinator for the Corporate Tax Law Society.
Prior to law school, she received her Master of Business Administration at Texas Woman’s University and a Bachelor of Science in Public Health from the University of Houston, where she graduated magna cum laude on both occasions.
Originally from Dallas, Sydney is known for her empathy and result-driven approach. She is dedicated to advocating for her clients with integrity and clear communication, ensuring each case is handled with care and detail. Outside of the office, Sydney enjoys photography, exercising, and traveling.
Mackenzie Perez
Operations Manager
As Operations Manager, Mackenzie organizes and optimizes firm systems and processes to ensure efficient and effective operations. She is a graduate of Baylor University and holds a Master’s degree from the University of Texas at Dallas.
Mackenzie is responsible for creating and updating the employee handbook, templates, spreadsheets, and other guidance documents. She enjoys continuous collaboration with staff to ensure optimal firm functioning.
Described as a kind, detail-oriented, and clear communicator, Mackenzie also enjoys listening to audiobooks and caring for her two young daughters outside of work.
Rose G.
Director of Finance & Legal Administration
As Director of Finance and Legal Administration, Rose G. plays a key leadership role in ensuring both the financial integrity and operational efficiency of the firm. She oversees all aspects of financial management, including budgeting, reporting, tax compliance, and expense tracking—particularly for case-specific matters.
Rose also manages strategic relationships with business and advertising partners, contributing to the firm’s long-term growth and visibility. Her work supports not only sound fiscal practices but also the overall organizational culture.
She holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Texas A&M University–Corpus Christi.
